Dubai-based developer Nakheel announced it will partner will Thailand-based Centara Hotels and Resorts to construct a 550-room resort at its Deira Islands development. The beachfront resort will comprise a water park, and will be Centara’s first development in the UAE. This is Nakheel’s third joint venture for hotels at Deira Islands announced in the year. Nakheel is working on a 750-room resort with Spain’s RIU Hotels and Resorts, and a 500-room Avani resort with Thailand’s Minor Hotel Group.
